Identify the equipment and design basis
The documents should identify each vessel, its design conditions, applicable construction standard, drawings and approved limitations. Serial numbers and nameplates must correspond to the supplied records. A design pressure is not an instruction to operate at that value; operating limits and protection settings belong in the approved project documentation.
Request traceable fabrication records
The SINOSEN brief describes material lists, weld examination reports, pressure-test records, dimensional inspection, quality certificates and manufacturing supervision documentation. The exact dossier depends on the contract and applicable rules. Agree the document list and required language before manufacture rather than assuming every export customer needs the same package.
Separate origin documents from destination acceptance
Manufacturing approval in one jurisdiction does not automatically satisfy another destination. The buyer and supplier should identify the destination conformity route, inspection body involvement and local registration responsibilities early. A website should not describe a general pressure-vessel license as proof of universal international certification.
Make the records usable after delivery
Provide an indexed dossier with final drawing revisions, operating instructions, maintenance requirements and inspection references. Retain digital copies with the plant asset record. If equipment is modified, the associated review and documents need to stay with it. Complete documentation supports safe operation and future service as well as the initial procurement acceptance.
