Provide the full chemical basis
Identify the liquid and relevant concentration, temperature, contaminants and suspended solids. Include the safety data sheet and any plant history of corrosion or seal attack. A trade name or generic term such as industrial liquid may conceal important differences between formulations. Compatibility at ambient temperature does not establish compatibility at the process maximum.
Check every wetted component
The main vessel may be stainless steel while valve seats, gaskets, instruments and coatings use different materials. Review each against the actual service. A harder coating is not necessarily more chemically compatible, and its edge conditions or substrate exposure may matter. The bill of materials should identify the product-contact construction rather than only the vessel shell grade.
Review the transfer gas and environment
Direct air contact can be unsuitable for oxygen-sensitive, flammable or reactive products. Hazardous-area requirements, vent treatment and emergency arrangements belong in a project-specific assessment by qualified personnel. The standard SINOSEN website configuration is not an assertion of explosion protection or suitability for hazardous chemicals.
Make the proposal conditional on evidence
A material-selection table should identify its data source, operating limits and unresolved questions. Where reliable compatibility information is absent, testing or a different construction may be necessary. Agree the destination requirements and inspection documentation before manufacture. A general industrial application page can help prepare the enquiry, but it cannot substitute for the chemical and process review of a particular installation.
General engineering guidance. Numerical examples are illustrative; project specifications and acceptance criteria are agreed for the actual duty.
